The Colorado Rockies and St. Louis Cardinals will both have marquee players in revenge spots against former teams when these two square off on Friday.

The Rockies’ 3.4 runs per game in road games ranks 24th in the MLB while the Cardinals, with former Rockies All-Star Nolan Arenado, are ninth in the league in runs per game with 4.8. However, the Cardinals are averaging just 4.1 runs per game in St. Louis compared to 5.3 runs per game away from home.
A day of rest for the Colorado bullpen will have them ready to pitch as many innings as needed in support of Gomber. With the Rockies’ 0.7 home runs per game on the road being the lowest mark in the MLB, Friday’s clash figures to have a low score.
