Actor Nicholas Brendon, best known for starring in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” is on the mend after receiving emergency medical treatment over a recent “cardiac incident.”

The 51-year-old was recently rushed to the hospital after he was experiencing tachycardia — a condition that makes the heart beat abnormally fast.

Brendon, who played Xander Harris in the cult hit ’90s show, was seen wheelchair-bound in a series of Instagram photos shared by his sister.

“Nicky is doing fine now but he had to be rushed to emergency about two weeks ago because of a cardiac incident (tachycardia/arrhythmia),” the statement read. “Nicky sends his love and wanted me to apologize that he hasn’t been going live as much lately and to give everyone an update.”

The update explained he’s suffered from a similar condition before and is seeking treatment.

“Some of you might remember he had a similar incident after his second spinal surgery last year (for Cauda Equina) but this time he is trying to get a little more rest and has been concentrating on medical appointments,” the statement said.

Brendon has faced some health woes this past year which forced him to step away from all promotional content for his film “Wanton Want” after he suffered “paralysis in his genitals” and legs in September 2021.

The “Criminal Minds” actor was said to be suffering from Cauda Equina syndrome, a condition in which the nerve roots in the lumbar spine are compressed, cutting off the movement, feeling and often the function of the genitals, bladder and bowel.

In August 2021, Brendon was arrested for using a fake ID in an attempt to purchase prescription drugs. He was charged with prescription fraud of a controlled substance and for refusing to identify himself when stopped by a police officer during the incident, which took place in Indiana.

According to his manager, having to sleep in a jail cell after his arrest aggravated his existing spinal problems. He was said to be “devastated” over his condition.
