Brian Laundrie Update: Former Co-Worker Says Laundrie Came Off As A 'Werido' At Work

Brian Laundrie’s former co-worker described him as a "weirdo" with a short temper.

Michael Livingston, 31, and Laundrie, 24 worked together in 2017 and 2018 at a garden center in New York. Livingston was a landscaper while Laundrie did sales.

"He never came across as the kind of person that would be the killing type," Livingston told Fox News. "But he did have that tendency to be — I don’t wanna say the wrong thing and make him sound worse than he already is — he was kind of a guy who would get p***ed off pretty quick."

Laundrie has been the subject of a manhunt for several weeks after the death of his fiance Gabby Petito. The couple had documented their cross-country van trip on social media. Petito's death in Wyoming was ruled a homicide by strangulation.

Livingston also mentioned that he would regularly speak with Petito, saying that she would visit the shop two or three times a week. He said that she would talk to him about how she wanted to travel and go on road trips.

“I think the only reason why she settled for him is he wanted to travel," Livingston said.

Laundrie would often bring up needing to keep his “zen,” which Livingston said made him come across as a “weirdo.”

"I remember from back then he was a big yoga nut, always telling me, ‘I gotta worry about my zen,’" Livingston said. "And I thought he was this weirdo."

Livingston also explained that Laundrie would come across as jealous and possessive if he noticed Petito speaking with any other guys.

"He would come over and do the boyfriend thing, put his arm around her, give her a kiss, very possessive," he said.
