Kawaki and Boruto's Karma still remains a mystery for Naruto and the others in the Hidden Leaf Village. In "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 196, Naruto and Boruto will engage in a training battle. The new episode is called "A Binding Force."
The promo trailer for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 196 shows Naruto and Boruto's friendly fight. Kawaki, Himawari, Sarada and Mitsuki watch two of the finest fighters from Konohagakure showcase their skills.
Kawaki asks Boruto if he is holding back because this is just a training match.
Naruto and the others want Boruto to use Karma against Naruto. Boruto says he just can't use it at will. However, Boruto does activate the Karma and it is likely Naruto will find out more about it during the battle.
In the previous episode, Naruto takes Kawaki out to show the village. Back at Uzumaki's, Boruto is upset about Naruto helping Kawaki.
Later, Naruto and Kawaki bump into Sarada and Cho-Cho and they head to Ino's flower shop to buy a vase for the Uzumaki household. However, Kawaki remains rude toward Sarada, Cho-Cho and the others.
Naruto asks Kawaki to choose a vase but the latter wonders why he has to pick one. At this point, even the Seventh Hokage is losing his temper. He tells Kawaki they have come all the way to the shop because he broke the precious vase.
When Kawaki, half-heartedly, chooses a vase, Sarada interrupts and tells him to be more sincere about it. By the end of the episode, Kawaki gets a lesson or two about friendship and camaraderie from Naruto.
