Blue Jays vs. Twins prediction: Jose Berrios makes Toronto the pick

“Got hooked on your column and it’s a must read for me. While the object is to pick winners for betting purposes, it’s also important that it be entertaining and that’s where you shine. And you rocked during the 2020 football season.”

Thanks, Mike. Sluggish start to the NFL picks though. Considering our baseball rally from -1,600 thornberrys, there is plenty of time.

Guess that three-way battle between the Bosox, Yanks and Jays is going the distance. Toronto’s Jose Berrios pitches against his former team, this time in Minnesota. Brought his “B” game (three runs) but picked up the W facing the Twinkies in Toronto. Berrios had allowed only three runs over his previous 13 ²/₃. The Twins’ Bailey Ober makes his 20th start. Gave up four runs in four frames in Toronto and nine runs over his last 12 ¹/₃. Play 20 units on the Jays.

Chris Bassitt left the game with a lead, but the pen leaked (three home runs) and the Mariners beat the A’s 6-5. Down -146 tenaces.
