There are many people in the world who do or say things they think are perfectly fine. But when seen from the outside, it is clear that they choose to do these things for no one else but themselves. Not sure what we mean by this? Here are some examples of selfish people who really get on our nerves. Some may be a little funny, and others will get you all fired up!

Everyone has a right to their own opinions and religious practices. But teaching your kids that something that has been scientifically proven is wrong is not only doing a disservice to them, it is also uninformed and extremely selfish.

These parents are trying to teach their kids that dinosaurs don’t exist, according to the bible. If that is true, then what are those big skeletons at the museum? We’ll hold while those parents try to come up with a rebuttal.

In the end, this person’s post on Reddit may very well be right. But there are certainly cases where we as mere humans have the right to judge our actions and that of others. For example, when someone breaks the law or acts out of line.

This person was actually talking about DUI, and for that, we are sure there is enough judgment to go around. So, this is not a factual point but rather another example of this person’s ignorance.

Some people like to celebrate their birthday big! That usually means throwing a party to enjoy the day with their closest friends and family. But how do people that can’t make it contribute to the celebration?

Well, this person seems to think it’s okay to ask them to transfer cash into her account. She also assumes it’s perfectly fine to send a follow-up message when no one got the hint. This birthday girl needs an education on social consciousness – how rude is she?!

Packing up and moving to a new place is always stressful and hard work, so when you can get a buddy to help you with that, and you promise that you will help them in return, it seems like a solid deal. That is unless you are this guy!

How mean and selfish is it to take from someone and then not live up to your end of the bargain?! And judging from this dude’s history, the sore back excuse was a lie.

When a beloved pet passes away, it is a tragic event for the caretakers of that animal. Oftentimes people will do some sort of ceremony or even cremate their pets so they can keep them around the family.

So, seeing how someone can just leave a dead animal in a box on the street for others to dispose of feels like a crime against humanity. We are grossed out by the culprit’s selfishness and lack of sensitivity.

No one wants to deal with a loaded diaper but as a parent, this unpleasant act is part of the job. This means that at the drop of a dime wherever you are, you could be called upon to change that diaper.

Part of changing a diaper is disposing of the old one so we were shocked and appalled to see that some parent thought it was okay to leave these dirty ones in a parking lot.

How does one repair a broken relationship? Wow, this complex question doesn’t have just one easy solution but multiple ones that may or may not work. But one thing is for sure, seeking out the love and attention of others is most definitely not the answer.

Cheating on your partner is one of the most selfish and cowardly things you can do. So with that being said, good on this woman for hitting this married man with a burn. We hope you suffered and didn’t receive any ice treatment!

There is an etiquette that we all follow when we are out and about in public places. For example, remember to use your manners and be polite when talking to waitstaff and of course, don’t make an unnecessary mess. As you can see here, it seems this group here bunked the class on the latter.

How selfish and rude is this?! Who in their right mind leaves a restaurant table in such a pigsty? Only pigs in our opinion. We apologize for being extra but we don’t comply nicely with people who don’t think of others.

Masks… they are something that we have all had to come to terms with in order to show our respect for the protection of others. So, for those out there who have this ‘every man for himself’ attitude, we have nothing to say to you.

Actually, scratch that, because we do. Although our moms did tell us that if you have nothing nice to say then you shouldn’t say anything at all, we’ll just say this – some people create their own storms, then get upset when it rains.

Good grooming is important, and we applaud it. However, with that being said, there is a time and place for this to occur and it’s most definitely not in public. Well, unless you’re getting your hair done!

To the person who thought it was okay to clip their nails at the gym, we see you and we’re very grossed out by you! Also, the fact that you have the audacity to expect someone else to clean up your mess makes us feel physically sick.

The workers at a family clinic definitely work hard, but we are not sure that this is the right message to be posted outside of one. Actually, we’re positive that this offensive sign needs to go.

From the judgment to the name-calling, we just don’t feel right seeing this outside a clinic. Whoever made and placed this sign here really needs to rethink their moral compass. After all, it’s never too late to become a better person.

We all know that having kids can be expensive, but most parents tend to focus on the positive aspects of children. You know, watching them grow up and becoming their own person. Oh yeah, and the fact you can make some money from them.

It’s one thing to think about the money you can get for being a parent through taxes and recently through stimulus checks, but it’s another to boast about it. We hope that this baby onesie is just some silly joke because it rubs us the wrong way.

It has become a big trend to have a gender reveal party when you are pregnant. They can be simple and to the point, or super over the top. And at some point during the event, there is an explosion of confetti or a cutting of a cake, and through the color, you will know if it is a girl or boy.

But once the gender is revealed and all is done, the clean-up process begins, especially if you do it in a public space. As it turns out, some people truly believe that the world revolves around them and clearly don’t care about the environment.

Sometimes the selfish people in your life are within your own family. As sad and difficult as it can be to deal with, we, unfortunately, don’t pick our family. This is why family feuds and estrangement are a thing.

While we don’t know either of these people personally, we can honestly say that if this selfish dude was our brother, we would want absolutely no relationship with him whatsoever. Perhaps he’ll realize what he’d done down the line and repent but until then – no, thank you!

Planes can be uncomfortable, especially on a long flight. But there is no reason to encroach on someone else’s space. This person clearly didn’t get that memo. We sincerely hope that those are just empty seats.

But even so, it’s also in bad taste to be totally barefoot on a flight. Judging by this person’s feet, they’re not a kid so they should know about basic etiquette by now. Urgh, now we’re all fired up!

When you go to government offices, you often end up standing in long lines for ages. Typically, we all think this is because these establishments are understaffed, but this behind-the-scenes snap says otherwise…

How selfish is it that this woman is taking her time and playing a little solitaire while all those people wait?! We hope she got reported on after this. We can actually feel the crowds’ frustration from here.

Medical care in some countries is super expensive and going to any doctor is a luxury. So the fact this dentist was so selective with his free goodies really got on our nerves. After all, he’s a successful man and we bet the Medicaid patients would have been most grateful for the toothbrush.

Doctors are supposed to genuinely care for their patients but we feel that this particular one is more profit-motivated than anything else!

When you can buy a new wardrobe every year, you often have to get rid of a bunch of older stuff. Those clothes could really be a blessing for some that are less fortunate. But apparently, this privileged woman doesn’t care.

All she cares about is that someone from a lower income class isn’t seen wearing the same thing she has worn. There is a particularly crass word used to describe a person like this which we’re not even allowed to use on this platform. Let your imagination guess what it is!

Thanksgiving is a time for family to get together and spend some quality time with each other. So, it’s important that the meal is yummy even if that means being a little frivolous at the grocery store.

This is why it’s common courtesy to ask others who are coming for dinner to bring a dish but expecting them to pay in cash is just odd. After all, a family dinner celebrating a holiday is supposed to be sentimental. It’s not like a restaurant where people come, eat and pay!

When you can find someone at the office who shares your hobbies, it is a great way to bond. These two workers had that when it came to a particular band but this story didn’t end the sweet way you probably were expecting it to.

Instead, one woman got to enjoy both concerts while the other had to cover her shift. That is pretty messed up, don’t you think? If we were the one who got shafted, we’d probably report the other girl to HR.

While this could have been some practical joke, when it comes to weight, we all need to be extra sensitive. Many people are self-conscious about their size and something like this could take them over the edge.

Whoever cut this cake and went out of their way to make sure it said this is most probably an insecure person themselves. And if god forbid the person who received this cake started to fret about their weight, then this cake-cutter is going to need to repent!

We’re just going to hope and pray that this Snapchat caption isn’t true. There’s no way someone can be that selfish. Surely he bought all those rolls to give to those in need, right? That’s what we’re going to tell ourselves to make us calm down.

Because the alternative makes us angry. He doesn’t look like a bad dude so we’re going to give him the benefit of the doubt here. Who is with us?

These trees were behind a fence with a big red sign on them, and yet still, someone thought only of themselves and cut them down. Who does such a thing? This perpetrator is contributing to our environmental dangers!

It wasn’t like they couldn’t see the sign so this person clearly had their own agenda. We hope however did this gets found out and hit with a hefty ticket! We can feel our blood starting to boil again!

Parents sometimes need a little pick-me-up during the day. So, we understand why this mother felt the urge to eat her son’s candy. However, the way in which she went around this was totally incorrect and borderline selfish.

Instead of being truthful with her son, or replacing the bag of Skittles before he realized they were missing, she chose to lie. The exact sin we teach our kids not to do… Come on mother dearest, do better!

We don’t know who to really call selfish in this situation. The person who parked where they shouldn’t have or the Swedish police officer who went out of his way to leave a ticket? Mmm… we’ve decided to sentence both parties.

The verdict is in… both the driver and the cop are guilty in our minds. It is not fair to park in a way that will affect the ability of others and it’s really not cool of the cop to purposefully make someone’s day worse. Do you agree?

Only a small space is allotted to each seat on an airplane. What this means is that oftentimes you end up rubbing elbows with the passenger who sits next to you. However, we draw the line at this…

Look at the space ratio differences between these two passengers! The woman crossing her legs should be ashamed of her selfishness. We hope this fellow Snapchatter said something to her after taking this pic.

It is pretty uncomfortable when a stranger sits down next to you in a public place. So, in order to avoid this awkward interaction, many of us try to make sure that we can keep the seat next to us filled. But in our opinion, this woman took it too far.

Taking up a whole row is just savage and selfish. We guess we can understand if there won’t many people around but even still, a person doesn’t need so much extra legroom.

This is not only selfish but dangerous. We know sometimes it’s hard to find a parking space in most downtown areas of major cities, so in a way, we feel for this culprit. But with that being said, his ‘solution’ to the parking problem totally infuriates us!

Who parks in a crosswalk? This is going to cause traffic and we are pretty sure this is illegal and completely a sign that this person only cares about themself.

Both parties have acted in their own self-interest with this one. Firstly the loud group infringed on the other customer’s right to a quiet cup of coffee. We know they were excited, but that excitement should have been contained.

With that being said, the guy acted out of spite by purchasing their name in order to ruin their new business. To this dude – when they go low, you’re supposed to go high, not get evil!

While we get upset by seeing people exhibit road rage, we would feel differently if we happened to drive into this parking lot and saw this. We can’t get over the nerve this truck driver possesses to park in such a self-seeking way.

Who in their right mind opts to take up four parking spaces? He should be ticketed for doing such a thing as now other drivers will have to suffer as a consequence.

Family can sometimes be the most selfish people there are, especially when there’s money involved. This boy was left a pretty hefty sum by his grandma, and this clearly caused some family members to be bitten by the green-eyed monster.

How could a parent and an aunt do this to someone in their family? Clearly, they were just thinking of themselves and not this kid’s future. Plain and simple – that money belonged to the woman’s grandson!

When you have an addiction, you can end up doing some pretty selfish things because of it. These things can hurt not only you but those around you. Most of the time, when that addiction is gambling, money is the main source of the issues.

In this case, not only with this man irresponsible with money, but he wasn’t even using his own. Instead, he used his girlfriend’s kid’s fund that was intended to help with college in the future. Isn’t this illegal? Someone should sue this dude before we do!

Many establishments now require you to wear a mask before you even enter. These places may not let you in if you don’t have one, and that’s just the protocol nowadays. And to those of you who don’t like it, then get mad at the virus, not the people trying to stick to the rules!

So, to this big bully who threatened to beat someone up for merely following the rules – you better repent for your despicable behavior!

We’re calling this next story Pizza-Gate because we feel the lack of pizza sharing was the cherry on top of why this dude is a selfish person and a taker. Also, how gross was he to lick the second slice just to prove a point?

Never take your anger out on food guys, especially pizza! We’re proud of the other character in this story for being the bigger person and just walking away. And we’re not even that shocked that the pizza perpetrator stole a bike.

Parents are supposed to make sacrifices for their kids when it is necessary. This mother, though, clearly didn’t get that memo and it makes us feel genuinely sad to hear it.

Our big question is why she didn’t just split a sandwich with the kid? Who tells their hungry kid that they can eat later? We’re getting seriously riled up from this.

It is always nice when someone gives you a fancy gift for Christmas even if it is not exactly what you wanted. But clearly, this young woman doesn’t feel that way and she had no problem voicing her opinion about it.

So when her parents opted to get her what she wanted by sacrificing their gifts, the least she could have done was actually use it, right? We don’t have good feelings for people who don’t appreciate when others go out of their way for them.

When you see someone struggling to stand, whether it is from age or because they are injured, the right thing to do is to help them in any way you can. All the people on this bus needed to do was give up a seat for this guy on crutches and yet no one seemed willing to do that.

What is wrong with our society today? This story gives us a visceral reaction. Thank goodness for this dude that stood up and said something.

There are a few important events in your life, one of those is a wedding, another one is a funeral. One is a joyous occasion, while the other one is one of the saddest. But one is not more important than the other, and so this bridal party’s attitude is way out of line.

After all, it was them who were late, not the funeral procession. We wonder if a fight broke out after this… If we were part of the funeral, we would have most definitely had some harsh words for the bride and bridesmaids.

Potlucks are meals where everyone is supposed to bring something, but that can be challenging when you have food allergies or intolerances. So we can understand why the woman was disappointed when her recipe didn’t work out, but what we don’t understand was her solution to it.

Her decision not to bring anything at all because she wouldn’t be able to enjoy anything was super rude and selfish. Just because she can’t eat certain foods doesn’t take away from her being a decent guest.

Many places have bathrooms specifically designed for people with disabilities. These bathrooms are meant to be used only by people that need them. So when someone who is perfectly healthy decides to use one, this is a clear sign that they are a little selfish.

We can’t believe the audacity of the middle-aged woman who got mad at a blind woman for hogging the bathroom. Maybe the HR department can give her a serious reality check.

There are people out there that are the grabby type. Now, what do we mean by this? Basically, they have tendencies to be greedy and not consider others first. This roommate described here fits this mold for sure.

What we don’t understand is why the girlfriend didn’t say anything. Perhaps she does behind-the-scenes but trust us, if someone continuously did this to us, we wouldn’t shy away from standing up for ourselves.

Traffic and standing in queues are two frustrating and time-consuming scenarios that can make people go off their marbles. So, when people who were standing behind you end up going to a free new line, we’d also lose it.

But seriously, to all those who stand at the back and then suddenly get appointed with a new and open line – does it not dawn on you to let those who have been waiting longer go first? What happened to common courtesy?

When a kid is being industrious and trying to find money to pay for their own game consoles, then the respective parent should be proud and maybe even reward them for their efforts.

They most definitely shouldn’t follow in this mom’s footsteps and try to make some money out of the deal. This woman clearly only thinks of herself and her bad addictions. We feel really bad for this smart kid.

It’s always scary to see a car accident on the road, no matter how severe it is. Usually, when onlookers see a vehicle pulled over, they stop to check that the person driving is okay. Unfortunately, not everyone was raised right.

Most of the drivers that stopped were just there to steal some Fanta for their long commute home. What thieves! We hope the truck driver got some of these people’s license plates down and reported them to the police.

We have all been there at some time – you are so thirsty for a drink and all you have is a few coins in your pocket. So you find that one drink that you can afford and you rush to get in line.

We can’t believe this girl stole this person’s coin in plain sight. We get that it wasn’t a wad of cash but stealing is still stealing. She deserved to be caught for displaying such selfish and immoral behavior.
