Will Poulter Set to Return as Luca for Season 3 of ‘The Bear’

One of the important guest stars is returning in ‘The Bear‘ Season 3. Yes! Will Poulter, who appeared as Luca in Season 2 of ‘The Bear,’ will return in Season 3.

Poulter appeared in Season 2, Episode 4, titled “Honeydew,” as Luca, a dessert chef who trains Marcus (Lionel Boyce) while he is in Copenhagen.

On April 18, Poulter was spotted on the set of ‘The Bear’ Season 3 in Lincoln Park, Agoura Hills, California. You can watch the footage shared by Twitter user Jenna Muehleck’s post.

In Season 3, Jeremy Allen White will reprise his role as Carmen ‘Carmy’ Berzatto, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Richard ‘Richie’ Jerimovich, Ayo Edebiri as Sydney Adamu, Boyce as Marcus, Liza Colón-Zayas as Tina, Abby Elliott as Natalie ‘Sugar’ Berzatto, Edwin Lee Gibson as Ebraheim, Matty Matheson as Neil Fak, Oliver Platt as Jimmy Cicero, and Molly Gordon as Claire.

Speaking at the recent SAG Awards, Matty Matheson revealed that production “is going really well; better than usual” and that the cast is keeping their “heads down and hearts full” for Season 3. He added: “We’re back in Chicago. The weather is kind of nice, and [we have] big scripts and big scenes. Cameras are on, and we’re ready.”

Recently, Deadline reported that ‘The Bear’ has been renewed for Season 4 and will be filmed back-to-back in Chicago. Additionally, Season 5 of ‘The Bear’ remains a possibility.

The show, created by Christopher Storer for FX on Hulu, had two successful seasons. It follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, a young chef who inherits his family’s Italian beef sandwich shop after the suicide of his older brother. He returns home to Chicago to run it, leaving behind his world of working in Michelin-starred restaurants.

When will ‘The Bear’ Season 3 Premiere?

‘The Bear’ Season 3 is set to premiere in June 2024 on Hulu. The news was announced by FX chairman John Landgraf during the network’s presentation at the Television Critics Association’s Winter 2024 press tour, as reported by Variety. Landgraf had little detail to share about the season; however, when asked if he could share whether the show would bring in as many high-profile guest stars as it did in Season 2, he joked, “Unfortunately, I can’t. I was surprised as you were when the Christmas episode came through the door.”
