Gray Zone Warfare: How to get high FPS on PC with Nvidia & AMD cards
Given below are some tweaks and adjustments for both Nvidia and AMD cards, considering that you have chosen the default Graphics Settings in the game.
Nvidia Cards
If you happen to own an older card, like the 30xx series or lower, here is what you need to do.
- First off, pause the game and head to the settings option by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner. Go to the Graphics tab, and scroll till you find the Anti-Aliasing – Upscaling Method. You will need to set this to FSR.
Now if you own GPUs from the Nvidia RTX 40xx series, you have the option to enable DLSS and a few other system tweaks. This is how you can do it,
- Again, with the game paused head to the Graphics settings and scroll down to the Anti-Aliasing – Upscaling Method feature. All you have to do is set this to DLSS for RTX 40 series cards.
- Next what you can do is close the game and go to Windows Settings followed by Display. Scroll and click on the Graphics Settings and finally click on the Default Graphics option. Here, you will need to turn on the Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling option. Remember to restart your PC for changes to take effect.
AMD Cards
Moving on to systems using an AMD graphics card, try the tweaks as follows.
- Firstly, for AMD graphic cards, FSR is recommended for maximizing performance. You turn this feature on by the same process as mentioned above for the Nvidia cards. Pause the game, go to the Graphics tab, and scroll down till you find the Anti-Aliasing – Upscaling Method option and set it to FSR.
- With Anti Aliasing set to FSR, scroll further down, and you should see the Fidelity FX Frame Generation and Fidelity FX Super Resolution options. Make sure to set them On.
